The birth of law firm marketing The birth of law firm marketing was in the late 1970’s, all sorts of legal professionals were on a mission to do the same as many wish to do now, increase their business clientele. There have been many fades and trends that have transpired since then, the age of information technology has again taken marketing to heights never imagined by our predecessors on the same mission.

Such as yellow pages and online directories has pritty much had its day, the cost associated with the return in clients one gets is so insufficient that every year more and more people are droping these forms of advertising. The biggest problem is the amount of people listed in these directories does not differentiate quality vs. quantity and do not separate them selves into market sectors.
Direct Mail Direct Mail marketing refers to all such materials that are received directly in the mail. The contents include flyers, brochures, coupons, postcards and any other mail that can be sent and received by your general audience. This type of marketing has had a rough time because of the difficulty in directing marketing efforts to a selected audience and the cost associated towards it (stamps, designs,print material and mailing list.) yet this type of marketing strategy has not seen it’s last days yet.
TV and Radio Advertising TV and Radio Advertising are among the most prestigious of marketing because of the instant impact it creates in branding or circulation. The high cost of this type of marketing is contained to the demographic you wish to target and the total audience you wish to view and listen to your ads. This type of advertising has no competition in that it can elevate a business in no other format can because of the nature tv and radio play in our daily lives.
Online Marketing online marketing refers to the exclusive marketing of services, products and/or information by way of online distribution.
Pay Per Click Pay per click refers to search engine sponsorship. This is the fastest way to get on page one of the search engines instantly by bidding higher than other competitors for prospective keyword search result clicks through position targeting.
Banner Advertising Banner advertising refers to creating a graphic advertisement and putting it on different websites with high volume of traffic in order to increase traffic and clients to a website. This method works by using like websites to put your advertsments on.
Email Marketing Email marketing refers to a fast fading marketing trend that became popular because of the amount of people it can target at one time.
Organic Search SEO is the strategic positioning of a website on the search engines.
Online Video Online video refers to having a video on your personal website or on websites such as youtube and metacafe
Online Spokesperson online spokesperson is a generic representative that is used in order to create a trust of an image online geared towards your business in order to achieve a more direct approach to adhere to your targeted audiences expectations of professionalism and overall remove the feel of internet and more of a personal feel.
